Privacy Policy
What ScriptDeck collects, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how to get rid of it. We sell nothing to advertisers and run no ad tracking.
Last updated 30 July 2026 · ScriptDeck is operated by Arkin LLC.
1. Who is responsible
Arkin LLC, at 11613 SummerField Road, Frisco, TX 75035, United States, operates ScriptDeck and is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us at support@scriptdeck.net.
2. What we collect
Account data. Your email address, and — if you sign in with Google — the basic profile information Google returns (name, profile picture). We never receive your Google password.
Your workspace content. The YouTube channels you choose to watch, the videos you analyse, the resulting analyses, transcripts and generated scripts, and the voice profile you write in Settings.
Billing data. Your subscription plan, your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, and a ledger of your monthly script allowance and usage. We never see or store your card number. Card details go directly to Stripe and are handled entirely by them.
Operational logs. Server logs recording requests, errors and job outcomes, used to keep the service working and to investigate faults. These may include your account identifier and IP address.
We do not run advertising trackers, third-party analytics pixels or cross-site profiling, and we do not sell personal data.
3. Why we use it
- To provide the service — running your Radar, analyses and script generation.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To take payment, apply your plan allowance, and prevent abuse of it.
- To diagnose faults and improve how the product works.
- To email you about your account: receipts, billing problems, material changes to these policies, and service issues. Marketing email is separate and optional.
Where the law requires a legal basis, ours is performance of our contract with you (providing and billing the service), our legitimate interests (security, fault diagnosis, preventing abuse), and consent where you have given it.
4. YouTube data
ScriptDeck uses YouTube API Services to read public information about the channels and videos you choose: titles, view counts, publication dates, public comments and captions.
By using ScriptDeck you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
If you signed in with Google, you can revoke ScriptDeck’s access to your Google account at any time from the Google security settings page. Public YouTube data we previously retrieved and cached is removed when you delete the analysis it belongs to, or when you delete your account.
5. Who else processes your data
We use a small number of providers to run the service. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
- Supabase — database, authentication and storage of your account and workspace content.
- Anthropic — the language models that analyse comments and transcripts and write scripts. Comment text, transcript text and your voice profile are sent to their API to produce your results. Under their commercial API terms this content is not used to train their models.
- Supadata — retrieval of public video transcripts.
- Google / YouTube — public video and channel data, and Google Sign-In if you use it.
- Stripe — payment processing, card handling, invoices and the billing portal.
- DigitalOcean — the servers the application runs on.
We may also disclose data where legally required, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. If the business is ever sold or merged, your data may transfer with it; you would be told first.
These providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. If you are outside the US, your data is transferred there and handled under this policy.
6. Cookies
We set cookies only for things the service cannot work without: keeping you signed in, and security. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of. Clearing them signs you out.
7. How long we keep it
- Account and workspace content: kept while your account exists. Delete an individual analysis at any time and it is removed from your account.
- Cached public YouTube data: kept to avoid re-fetching the same video repeatedly and to keep costs down. Breakout listings refresh roughly every 12 hours.
- Billing records: retained as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically seven years, even after you close your account.
- Operational logs: retained for a short period for fault diagnosis.
8. Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to certain processing, and complain to your local data protection authority. Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR or California law — some of these rights are statutory.
We do not sell or share personal data for advertising, so there is no “do not sell” request to make.
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production data is restricted, and the database enforces per-user access rules rather than relying on application code alone. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and any regulator as the law requires.
10. Children
ScriptDeck is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by email or in the app before they take effect, and the “last updated” date above will change.
